Welcome to the FAQ's page. Hopefully all of your questions regarding this years Relay For Life Forest of Dean 2008 will be answered below. Please email Neil if you have any further questions.

Answers
Where am I going to be?
Each team will be allocated an area to pitch their tents and run their "on the day fundraising" These areas will be marked with a sign.
 
Where does my team fundraising need to be?
Your team on the day fundraising needs to at the front of your area.
 
Where is everything else?
The site plan showing where everything is, can be downloaded.
 
When can I pitch my tent?
The site will be available for team access from 09:00am on the Saturday morning.
 
When can I register?
Registration will be available from 09:00am on the Saturday morning and closing for the Opening ceremony at 11:30am. Please ensure that all of you teams paperwork is complete before you register. Team Captains will be given a goodie bag with event programmes etc.
 
When is the opening ceremony?
The opening ceremony will begin at 11:45am and will take place in front of the stage. Relay For Life Forest of Dean will be formally opened by our special guest. On completion of that will be the survivors lap. When the survivor's have finished, each team will be announced in alphabetical order and will take to the track with your team name "Reduce the Risk" banners.
 
When is the Candle of Hope ceremony?
The COH ceremony will take place at 09:30pm in front of the stage and this is the only time that the Relay will stop.
 
When is the closing ceremony?
The closing ceremony will be at 11:45am on the Sunday morning, this will take place in front of the stage.
 
What do I need to bring?
The full recommended kit list can be downloaded – important things to bring are all of your teams paperwork, team name "Reduce the Risk" banners, and what ever you need to run your "On the day Fundraising".
 
What themed laps are there?
The first lap with you teams fancy dress costumes, the "Bra and Boxers - check your bits" lap and the Hero's lap (come as your hero).
 
What catering facilities will there be?
The catering tent will be available throughout the 24hrs, with the exception of the Candle of Hope ceremony where it will close temporarily. A wide variety of hot and cold drinks and healthy eating food options will be available. A BBQ will be available from 4 - 7 pm. An ice cream van will also be visiting the site.
 
When will visitors have to leave the site?
All visitors should leave the site after the Candle of Hope ceremony (10:00pm ish).
 
What do I do with any money we raise on the day?
Tess will accept cheques only, for any funds raised during the event. These will go towards you team totals.

The do's and don'ts can be downloaded. Please take the time to read them.
 
Who do I go to if I need anything?
Please contact any of the committee if you need anything or have any questions. There will be a member of the committee "on duty" at all times. Committee members can be identified by a white polo shirt with the words "Committee" on the back.
