Count down to Relay For Life 2009:
|
Entering a team
Relay For Life teams are made up of friends, family
members and colleagues. There are normally between 8 and
15 members in each team.
If you would like to enter a team either download the
form (pdf) and send it
the address below or contact Sharon:

OR

Raising money to help beat cancer
Before the Relay, the teams raise as much money as
possible to support the work of Cancer Research UK.
|
|
The event itself is a celebration of all the fundraising
carried out throughout the year. It's a chance for
everyone involved to recognise the important
contribution they have made to help beat cancer.
Once your team has registered you will receive a booklet
packed with fundraising ideas and information on how to
set up an
online fundraising page. |
Walking through the night
Our relay lasts 24 hours, so the teams camp out
overnight. During the day the celebration is in full
swing and a party takes place around the track, whilst
team members take turns walking laps. |
Entering youth teams
Relay For Life is an event for all, regardless of age or
fitness level. If you are under 18 and would like to
take part in the fun, festivity and fundraising of Relay
For Life just contact Sharon:
sharon@forestofdeanrelay.org.uk
for more information.
